Scope of This Return Policy

This policy applies to products purchased directly from Seed Bomb Ireland, whether the order is placed through SeedBomb.ie, by email, by telephone or through another direct distance-order process.

The statutory cancellation provisions on this page apply to eligible consumer distance contracts. Different rules apply to personalised, made-to-order and business purchases, as explained below.

If a product was purchased from an independent retailer or another third party, the return should be arranged with that seller under its own return process.

Cancelling Before Dispatch

A standard, non-personalised order may be cancelled for a full refund if Seed Bomb Ireland receives the request before the order has been dispatched.

Please contact us promptly at enquiry@seedbomb.ie and include the order number. If the parcel has already been dispatched, the standard cancellation and return process below will apply.

A personalised or customised order may be cancelled before production starts. Once production has started, the provisions for personalised and business orders apply.

Cancelling an Eligible Standard Purchase

A consumer may normally cancel an eligible standard product purchased at a distance by notifying Seed Bomb Ireland within 14 days of receiving the goods. No reason is required.

If an order contains multiple products delivered separately, the cancellation period normally begins when the final product in that order is received.

After notifying us of the cancellation, the customer has a further 14 days to return the eligible goods.

How to notify us

You may send any clear written statement confirming that you wish to cancel. The following information will help us identify the order:

• Your name and contact information.
• Your order number.
• The product or products being cancelled.
• The date the order was received.

You may tell us why you are cancelling, but you are not required to provide a reason.

Product condition

The customer may inspect a product in the same way it could reasonably be examined in a shop. Please return products securely packaged with their supplied components.

If handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, a permitted reduction may be made to reflect any resulting loss in value.

Change-of-mind return costs

The customer pays the direct cost of returning products following a change-of-mind cancellation. We recommend using a suitable postal service and retaining proof of postage until the refund has been completed.

Refunds and Replacement Orders

An approved refund will be issued through the original PayPal, credit-card or debit-card payment method. Seed Bomb Ireland will process a statutory cancellation refund within 14 days of being informed of the cancellation.

Where permitted, we may wait until the returned products are received or until the customer supplies evidence that they have been returned, whichever occurs first.

Delivery within the Republic of Ireland is free, so there is no separate standard outbound delivery charge to refund.

Seed Bomb Ireland does not operate direct change-of-mind exchanges. If you would like a different standard product, please return the eligible product for a refund and place a new order.

Faulty, Damaged, Incomplete or Incorrect Goods

If goods arrive faulty, damaged, incomplete, incorrect or not as described, contact enquiry@seedbomb.ie as soon as practical.

Please provide the order number, a clear description of the issue and photographs where relevant. Retain the product and its packaging until we confirm the appropriate next step.

Seed Bomb Ireland will assess the matter and provide the remedy required under Irish consumer law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund.

Seed Bomb Ireland will cover the reasonable return cost where goods are being returned because they are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. We will provide return instructions before the goods are sent.

Personalised, Made-to-Order and Business Purchases

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not normally apply to products made to a customer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

A personalised or customised order may be cancelled before production starts. Once production has started, cancellation and any refund will depend on the reasonable artwork, materials, printing, preparation and production costs already incurred. Any remaining balance will be refunded where applicable.

This does not affect statutory rights where personalised or customised goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

Consumer cancellation rights do not apply where a purchase is made wholly or mainly for business purposes. Business and bulk orders are governed by the quotation, approved artwork, written order information and the Seed Bomb Ireland Terms and Conditions.
